Today is World Pet Memorial Day. Although I remember all my babies at the bridge. I have that special bond with my Sweet Sassy. It’s hard to believe that she will be gone 2 years in August. Losing some of our heroes recently brought back that ache. Yes, it has lessened over time but those Heroes: Bart, Charley, Nixon, and Jackson just to name of few hurt just as much. So please remember them too.

You already had me blinking the start of a few tears with your words….and then BAM…the pictures!! Yep…some waterworks!!
But the pictures youh picked to honor each of our pups…real smilemakers!! Thank you for that. Thank you soooooo much for this blog! And speaking in behalf of Miss Happy Hannah, she loves it when she shows up in a BLOG since she never had one!
Almost two years? One reason that seems impossible is thst Sassy really is continu to live through you…and through all of us who were so blessed to share our journey with her..

It seems almost impossible that it has been two years since Sassy left for the Bridge. She was the first of the special Tripawds for me. When we lost her, I just sat in my chair and bawled. Garry couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me, as he had not yet begun to get to know the various courageous pups with whom we fell in love over the past couple of years.
Thank you for these wonderful reminders of some very special angels.

Although I wasn’t here when Sassy lost her battle or even went through her journey I feel like I was … her spirit lives on in all that you do and how you keep coming back to help all the newbies! Your ability to remember all about your journey and thus help the ‘newbies’ is Sassy’s spirit living on in you!
I will give Jasper extra snuggles before bed when we say our nightly prayers and good night to our sweet Angel, Shelby!
