I know I haven’t posted much on this about Sassy.  But today would have been her ampuversary had she been here.  Since I have posted we lost our buddy Jackson one of our last Winter Warriors.  Jill is here to carry on our legacy.  She has many Angels to watch over her.

Sassy I celebrate this day for you with chocolate because it was the day we started as a Tripawd and met many of our good friends.  Love you my baby girl.

Awwwww, most beautiful Sassy! We are celebrating with you and your mama here in Oaktown 🙂 We know you are having a blast in Over the Bridge Land! Say hey to our Rosa (She Who Went Before Us) for us OK? She is that pretty shepherd girl playing with her squeaky toys non-stop and driving y’all crazy!

And I thought I heard thunder in the night sky. Heck no! It was everybody at the Bridge clapping loudly because they were all celebrating Sassy with a CHOCOLATE lawty tonight!! And her mamma even gave permission!! And they know how to celebrate at the Bridge…chocolate syrup pured over their steaks, chocolate dressing on their salads, puppy lattes with chocolate chips, all topped off with a hot fudge sundae for dessert!!!

Yes April has been “awful”, just as August was “awful” when we lost our beloved Sassy and our beloved Brendol on the same day. Yet our dogs have brought us all together on this journey and friendships with “stangers” have been formed with a bond that is unbreakable. They have given us the gift of each other.

And I am so grateful to be in Sassy’s circle of compassion and to be able to call her momma my friend. I am forever grateful every single time I see a post or blog about Sassy. Her light still shines brightly on this community and her impact is undeniable!

AND, I do not believe I jave seen this pretty picture of Miss Sassy Sugar Bear sitting so pretty in HER chair!!! Hmmm…reminds me of someone else who liked to sleep in her chair!!!

Thank you for posting sweet Michelle. We shall all celebrate with chocolate tonight!

We love you Sassy and Michelle!

    Lots of love always!

Sally and My Eternal Light Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle too!

    Michelle,
I have been away for a long time and i feel bad that I have not been supportive to all mr faithful tripawd family. I am so sorry for the loss of Sassy! This tripawd family is amazing and I just need to reconnect with all of you. May God wrap his arms around you and comfort you. I miss all if you. My Bailey Girl and then the death if my father caused me to break. I do have a new puppy her name is Amazing Grace she is tm second skin. But I still can’t forget about how fast Baileys journey went and looking back (I know) her quality of life wasn’t so good. The positive is she’s running pain free and watching over us and will be by her sisters side she’s having her second eye surgery tomorrow.
Love and tight hugs, Tracy and Angel Bailey Girl

Michelle – these anniversaries never get easy, do they? I think of you and Sassy often. I like to think that she and Bart hang out occasionally. Sassy would be Bart’s 1st Rottie girl friend – he likes all the ladies! Sassy has done a lot for folks with larger dogs who are unsure how their big dogs will do on 3. Just recently, someone from Italy contacted me about an amputation on their Rottie mix and I shared Sassy’s story with them to let them know their boy will be OK. So, even though she is not with us physically she is still helping folks from Heaven.
i hope you are now in a chocolate coma…

    Love, Darcy & Angel Bart

She always strikes me by how beautiful she is! Yes,is! She is just as beautiful as an angel as she was here on earth. TY probably has a huge crush! These anniversaries are bittersweet. They hurt, yet we celebrate because we loved so deeply. Happy Ampuversary at the bridge, sweet Sassy!
